Threema Work introduces a useful new feature: Administrators can now specify a job title and department for each employee. This way, it’s immediately apparent whether a contact is John Smith from accounting or the other John Smith from the operations team. On top of that, the user management in the management cockpit now supports bulk editing.

Thanks to Threema Work’s verification levels, internal contacts are very easy to distinguish from external ones. With a large staff, however, it could become challenging to keep track of who’s who within the organization. That’s now a thing of the past.

As of today, Threema Work administrators can provide a job title and department for their users, either by means of configuration settings (th_job_title and th_department) or directly in the management cockpit. Thus, employees see at a glance which department a colleague belongs to and the position they hold:

Bulk Editing in the Management Cockpit

Administrators who manage their users in the management cockpit will be pleased that they don’t have to edit employee details one by one. Instead, they can select any number of users and, for example, assign them to the marketing department with a single click. This not only saves time, it also reduces errors.
