With this Privacy Policy, we want to give you an overview over the processing of your personal data in relation with the application process at Threema GmbH.

Who is responsible for processing personal data?

Threema GmbH, Churerstrasse 82, 8808 Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland, is responsible for the processing of personal data. You can contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy at threema dot ch.

What purposes does Threema process personal data for?

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Carrying out the application process (pre-contractual actions).

What personal data is processed?

During the application process, the following personal data is processed:

  • Personal data in application documents;
  • Personal data in the criminal record extract;
  • Threema ID (application via the Threema app to “*JOBS3MA”);
  • Email address (application via email to “bewerbung at threema punkt ch”).

What personal data is stored and for how long?

The following personal data is stored by us (storage period in brackets):

  • Personal data in application documents (for a maximum of 4 months after rejection);
  • Personal data in the criminal record extract (for a maximum of 4 months after rejection);
  • Threema ID for applications via the Threema app (for a maximum of 4 months after rejection);
  • Email address for applications via email (for a maximum of 4 months after rejection).

If the application process ends with the conclusion of an employment agreement, the personal data in the application documents, in the criminal record extract, and the Threema ID and/or the email address are entered into the personnel file at Threema GmbH and will be further processed for the performance of the employment agreement.

Is personal data disclosed to third parties?

No. We process the personal data that occurs during the application process exclusively on our own hardware (servers) in Switzerland.

What rights do you have?

You have a right to information to Threema and a right to rectification, completion, deletion, and blocking of your personal data as well as a right to withdrawal (of your consent) and to objection (against data processing based on overriding interests).
