January 28 is Data Privacy Day. To celebrate this awareness day, we’ve created a sticker collection dedicated to online privacy. Show your support for the cause, and personalize your smartphone or laptop with privacy stickers!
Privacy Is More Important than Ever
When the Council of Europe established the Data Privacy Day 17 years ago, Android devices weren’t a thing yet, and the first iPhone was only a few months old. Back then, it wasn’t evident that soon, practically no one would be able to do without a smartphone. It wasn’t clear that these digital companions would be able to track our every move and that most of the popular mobile apps would be designed to analyze our behavior.
Nor was it foreseeable that, based on the vast volume of collected user data, AI will be able to derive information about us that we would have never been willing to disclose in the first place.
In light of this, privacy protection on the Internet is way more important today than it was when the Data Privacy Day was introduced in 2008. And since an ever-increasing part of our lives takes place online, it’s paramount to stand up against the growing surveillance in the digital space.
Win a Privacy Sticker Set
We’re celebrating this year’s Data Privacy Day with a twelve-piece sticker collection. Be it emphatic or in a tongue-in-cheek way, show your support for data privacy, and embellish your mobile devices with the stickers of your preference.
There are multiple ways to get your hands on the stickers:
Win them: Send “sticker” to *THREEMA, or like and repost our Data Privacy Day post on Bluesky, Mastodon, or X.
Download them: Obtain the SVG files here, and print the stickers yourself, or have them printed by the service of your choice.
Order them: Our merch store also holds the twelve new stickers as of now.
We’re giving away ten sticker sets. The lucky winners will be randomly selected on January 29, 2025, and notified via the respective platform.
Good luck!
